Flash To Replace Tyloo Gaming In ELEAGUE Major 2018

TyLoo have confirmed to ELEAGUE and Valve that they will not attend the next Major, with a replacement expected to come from the Asia Minor, HLTV.org has learned.

The Chinese team have cited visa issues as the reason to skip the event, which would be their first-ever Major, with Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand having seen his application rejected by the US embassy.
Former TyLoo coach Luis "peacemaker" Tadeu could fill in as a substitute, but, according to a report from independent journalist Jarek "DeKay" Lewis, talks between the Brazilian and the Chinese organisation broke down, forcing the team to withdraw from the tournament.

With only ten days remaining before the start of the Major qualifier, which has been renamed to "New Challengers Stage", ELEAGUE is actively working to secure a replacement from the Asia Minor, HLTV.org has learned, with the final team list due to be released next week along with the initial match-ups. Flash, who came in third place, would be the most obvious choice, followed by fourth-placed side MVP PK. Earlier on Tuesday, Flash member Andrew "kaze" Khong seemingly suggested that he had applied for a US visa in a tweet that has since been deleted.

But later reports arrived that Flash is going forward with their decision and they did get their Visas and will be replacing Tyloo in Boston 2018 Major.

Flash Gaming duo KunHua "LOVEYY" Bai and Andrew "kaze" Khong have had their visa applications approved by the US government, allowing them to play at the ELEAGUE Major, HLTV.org has learned. This means that the five players who played for Flash at the Asia Minor are now eligible to compete at the Major, with YuLun "fancy1" Cai, YuanZhang "AttackeR" Sheng and QiFang "Karsa" Su all having ten-year visa permits from their time with TyLoo.

HLTV.org understands that KunHua "LOVEYY" Bai and Andrew "kaze" Khong have been informed that their passports will be ready in the coming days, most likely early next week, just in time for the ELEAGUE Major, which kicks off on January 12. Earlier on Tuesday, both players hinted on Twitter that they had applied for US visas, but the tweets were deleted soon after being posted.

Flash are currently in talks with Valve about the possibility of having their stickers featured in the game, just like any other team at the Major. However, it is unlikely that this will be a necessary condition for the Chinese side to accept replacing TyLoo, who have informed ELEAGUE and Valve that they will not attend the event, citing "visa issues."

Currently ranked 75th in the world, Flash finished third at the Asia Minor following defeats to Renegades and TyLoo in the playoffs. Last month, the team benched LOVEYY and Karsa, but they will still have to attend the event with these two players due to the roster lock rule.

I AM REALLY VERY SAD FOR TYLOO GAMING THEIR FIRST OPPURTUNITY JUST GONE.
